It actually ended up being the most relaxing weekend. It was just what I needed. I had prayed the whole week prior that I wouldn't get too many calls from the hospital and especially that they wouldn't need me to come in. And you know what? Those prayers worked. It was the easiest on-call weekend I've ever had. I got to spend two days in a big, beautiful, and quiet house with two adorable pups who absolutely adore each other. They played, they snuggled, they sunbathed, they ran through the sprinklers, and they even took naps. So, as the title of this post states, I'll let the pictures do the talking:
Evidently, Claire likes sunbathing while she's hanging out inside with the air-conditioning on.
Chase. Such a sweetheart.
I call this one "Black Dog in Suburbia."
What a stud.
Claire loved Alexandra's chaise lounge.
Just resting for a bit.
Little One wanted me to come play too.
Nap time for Chase and Claire. And me.
Smooching. They actually do this quite a bit.
I had to be the chaperone and make sure it didn't get too crazy.
Back at home after a fun weekend.
