a giveaway - just in time for the holidays!

Okay, y'all, happy Saturday! As I said in my last post, we're all ready for our next giveaway. And this time, it's the perfect Christmas gift or stocking stuffer for the animal lover in your life. Or for yourself. No judgment here!

This book, Paws to Reflect is only available for Kindles right now, but when I got a copy of the hardcover edition, the authors were nice enough to send me a copy for this giveaway, too! Aren't they awesome? I think so!

I've been pretty vocal about how God uses Claire all the time to teach me important lessons, and this book is full of short stories along those same lines. Each devotion is short and to-the-point, so it's perfect to keep with you when you've got five minutes to sit and take a breath from the busyness of life.

Want to win it? Here's how to enter, plus some reminders:
-- Just leave a comment below sharing a life lesson that you've learned lately. --- Be sure to include your email address too, so I can notify you if you win!
-- Enter by Wednesday, November 14th at 6:00pm, because that's when the giveaway closes. Good luck!

  1. I learned to spend time with people while they are well enough to appreciate it.

  2. The life lesson I learned today is that while some days are all about you and what you need, sometimes you need to step out of the situation and let it be about someone else. It may mean you have to drop what you're doing to make yourself available for someone in need. You could have to give up all the plans you've set for your day, regardless of how many items were going to be checked off your 'To Do' list. Recognize that there are more important things than watching TV or getting the laundry done. Be helpful to others, and work hard at knowing how to help out as much as you can when needed.

  3. Does the life lesson need to be beans related?! :)

  4. I don't have a dog but I have a 50% step dog and my dear dear grand dog, Claire! So....I think I can submit my lesson. I believe that God is always there with a hand out to help as long as we ASK. He constantly answers my prayers by keeping my children safe, healthy and happy.

  5. When I was stressed recently, my tone with Mona showed my frustration. I felt bad and she jumped up and gave me a kiss. Her unconditional love is a reminder of God's great love for us and how we should love others. :) You know my info. :)

  6. I have learned to tackle everyday with Gusto, just like Artie who we adopted in April. He literally bounces down the hall everyday so happy it is breakfast time. Whenever he goes in the car, greets someone coming home, or goes for a walk his head is up, eyes are bright and his tail is going a mile a minute.
