our very first giveaway!

Alright everyone, I have decided that it is finally time to do a blog giveaway - I'm new at this, so hang in there, okay? Are you as excited as I am? Hope so! Want to know what you'll get if you win? Why yes, yes you do! You will get to choose between... a $10 gift certificate to either Starbucks, Petsmart, Target, or Panera. I figure a choice is nice because some of you may who participate may not have a dog. I'm so thoughtful ;)

    I really do miss my Tucker dog! But when he first came into our family, I hated him. It's true. He was such an obnoxious puppy with the gift of constantly staying by my feet so he could trip me. I knew he was a malevolent soul. My brother brought him home just before I left for my freshman year of college. When I came back for Thanksgiving break, Tucker had me completely wrapped around his paw. I would do anything for that dog and he adores me...even more than he likes my brother! I'm the only one that can get him to do his "flip trick." He's arthritic now but bless his heart, he still tries to do it whenever I go back home.

    One of my favorite memories of my little dachshund, Bella, was putting her in shoes! I thought she might need them to walk outside in the freezing Chicago snow. It didn't go so well. But it was HILARIOUS. Good thing I took a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Whgv49FyzA4
